Pray that you would put no other name before the one true God! Pray for a day when the whole world will sing praises to Him! (Jeremiah 10)

MONDAY

Pray for all involved in Shine On Summer Camp this summer. Pray that the kids might come to know God’s love for them. Thank God for this ministry at Bromley!

TUESDAY

Pray that Jesus would be the desire of your heart and that you might have a personal relationship with Him.

WEDNESDAY

Give thanks to God for the way that He has blessed your life! Praise Him for all the good things of this world. (Psalm 103)

THURSDAY

Pray to God and tell Him your deepest secrets and hurts. Know that He is listening and loves you!

FRIDAY

Pray for God to give you a steadfast faith that has no limits. Pray that this faith might transform the way that you live your life.

SATURDAY

Pray for Bromley. Pray that we would always put Christ at the centre of everything that we do as a church.

SUNDAY

Remember what made you decide to follow Jesus. Think and pray about why it is that you believe what you do.

MONDAY

Pray for fun and safety for this week's Shine On camp and that the children may be impacted by God in their lives.

TUESDAY

Tell God what is worrying you today and ask Him to take this burden away from you. Pray in faith that God will make all things right in time.

WEDNESDAY

Pray for those with poor physical and/or mental health. Pray that God would lessen their suffering so that they might have peace and be able to look forward to their future.

THURSDAY

Pray that God would reveal to you how you play a part in fulfilling His Great Commission: Matthew 28:18-20.

FRIDAY

Pray that God would bring new families to Bromley. Pray that we would be welcoming and would show our love to them in the ways that God has called us to do.

SATURDAY

Read Ephesians 1:3-14 and rejoice in the Lord who has called you into His family!

Pray for those who are exploring Christianity. Pray that they might learn to live by faith and experience the fullness of life that God offers.

MONDAY

Pray for fun and safety for this week's Shine On camp and that the children may be impacted by God in their lives.

TUESDAY

Pray that you won’t ever turn away from God. Pray in thanksgiving that God is the Father who will always be waiting for you and is ready to forgive when you do stray from Him.

WEDNESDAY

Pray to God about the ways that you spend your money. Prayerfully consider if you are being the best steward of what God has given you and pray for the people of this city who lack financial stability.

THURSDAY

Pray for a faith that trusts and believes that Jesus was and still is who He said He was. (John 12:37-50)

FRIDAY

Pray for those without homes in this city. Thank God for The Ottawa Mission that is working to help change this!

SATURDAY

Thank God for bringing Pastor Nathan to us. Pray that he and Heather might come to feel at home here in Ottawa and that Nathan’s ministry would be blessed at BRBC.

SUNDAY

Pray for the worship service at Bromley and for others that are happening across this city today. Pray that peoples lives would be changed from encountering God in these services. Pray that you would learn and worship with an open heart this morning.

MONDAY

Pray that you would have a servant’s heart. Pray that you would find ways to live out your faith. (James 2:14-26)

TUESDAY

Pray for a pure heart. Pray that God would remove from you all that is not from Him.

WEDNESDAY

Pray for holiness. Ask God to reveal to you how you can become more like Him.

THURSDAY

Pray for Église Le Rocher in Châteaugay and for Pastor Daniel that they might reach more people and be able to take care of them with their multiple needs.

FRIDAY

Pray for those traveling this long weekend that God would watch over them and keep them safe as they travel to visit friends and family.

SATURDAY

Pray for understanding of how the Spirit is working in you and giving you life! (Romans 8:1-17)

Pray for Bromley’s Mission Team that is leaving today for El Salvador. Pray that they would be a blessing to the people they meet and that the work that they do will be impactful for the advancement of God’s Kingdom!

MONDAY

Thank God for our church! Thank Him for the fellowship that we share and for the encouragement that we offer one another.

TUESDAY

Pray for all people being displaced by war and persecution. Pray that they would be welcomed in the countries where they end up and that they might never feel like second class citizens.

WEDNESDAY

Pray for the leaders in our church, that they have wisdom and discernment for God's plan for us.

THURSDAY

Pray for visitors to Ottawa this summer, that their time here will be fulfilling, fun and safe.

FRIDAY

Pick 3 things you are thankful for and praise God.

SATURDAY

Read and pray about Proverbs 3:6

Pray for Pastor Rob. Pray that he would be given the words to reach us and that we, in turn, would have open hearts and minds to the message that he is trying to teach us.

Pray for Indigenous people around the World. That they find justice, peace and acceptance.

WEDNESDAY

Pray about something sitting heavy on your heart today.

THURSDAY

Pray for "first responders" that they may not be required today, but for the skills to handle it if they are called.

FRIDAY

Pray for Bruno & Kathleen Soucy and their work in Rwanda. Thank Him for giving them hearts to serve as missionaries.

SATURDAY

Pray for people struggling with addiction, that they find strength and redemption in God.

Pray for Marc & Kim Wyatt and the work they are doing with Hope House in North Carolina, providing a safe place for refugees.

FRIDAY

Pray for those who are hungry.

SATURDAY

Pray for the refugees sponsored by Bromley and that we are led by God to fill their needs as best we can.

Thank God for the way that He raises up the broken in this world. Thank Him for the times He has helped you through your struggles.

MONDAY

Pray for fun and safety for this week's Shine On camp and that the children may be impacted by God in their lives.

TUESDAY

Pray for those who are victims of human trafficking.

WEDNESDAY

Read and pray about 1 John 1:9.

THURSDAY

Pray for those who have worries about the safety and care of loved ones, that they keep God close as they walk a difficult path.

FRIDAY

Pray for university students as they prepare for the start of a new year. Pray for the 1st-year students and their parents as they make the transition.

SATURDAY

Give thanks to God for coming into this world to be the light of the world. Pray that you reflect God’s love by being a light into the lives of the people around you.


AUGUST 28 TO SEPTEMBER 3 SUNDAY

Pray for Bromley Kids as they prepare for the fall. Pray that they would have excitement and hope for a happy new school year.

MONDAY

Pray for doctors and nurses, that God guides their hearts, hands and minds as they help the sick and dying.

TUESDAY

Pray for Pastor Nathan as he plans for the start of youth groups and the beginnings of a new season in his ministry.

WEDNESDAY

Pray for strength of faith. Pray this so that you might be strong for God in today’s world where it can sometimes be tough to stand firm in your beliefs.

THURSDAY

Pray that the school will be a safe place to learn and grow for our youth and all the children in the world.

FRIDAY

Pray that God would give educators the courage and patience to love and take care of our children and youth.

SATURDAY

Pray that all the parents find the patience and love with the Lord to help the children cope with home work and that they take time to hear them about their days at school.

SUNDAY

Pray for our Senior Pastor, Rob, who is starting a session that will equip him to serve the Lord in renewed and exciting way.

MONDAY

Pray for Bromley and for each other so we could find ways to better assist Rob in his studies and assist Nathan in his leadership with the youth.

TUESDAY

Pray for courage for the children that are starting school for the first time. And pray for safety.

WEDNESDAY

Pray for all our seniors that are in homes or hospices or in hospitals and ask the Lord to put in your heart the desire to visit them or give them a call.

THURSDAY

Thank God for your life and all the blessings you are receiving each day. Take the time to count them and thank Him for each of them.

FRIDAY

Pray the Lord's prayer and reflect on it's meaning. (Matthew 6:9-13)

SATURDAY

The OBA's man retreat is this weekend. Pray that our men are inspired by this retreat and renewed in their faith.

Pray for Shine On Sunday, happening today at Bromley. Pray for great weather, and the chance for families to connect with God through the celebration!

MONDAY

Pray for our sister church in El Salvador, Iglesia Bautista Emmanuel. Pray for their youth centre project that BRBC’s mission team helped with this summer.

TUESDAY

Pray for the people that do not know Christ yet so they may encounter good Christians that will talk to them about God's love and his Son Jesus our Lord and Saviour.

WEDNESDAY

Pray for the Churches around the world that are struggling because they are persecuted by the government of the countries they are in. Pray for safety and courage and peace.

THURSDAY

Today is the International day of democracy. We all know that not all countries are in democracy. Pray that human's rights specially women's and children's rights improve in these countries.

FRIDAY

Pray that the Holy Spirit may guide you in all you do and say.

SATURDAY

Read Matthew 7:1-2. Pray on and think about what it means in your life.

Pray that our leaders might seek God's wisdom while making their decisions.

MONDAY

Pray for your spouse with love and passion and thank God for them in your life.

TUESDAY

Pray for your children as they would seek truth and wisdom and that they make good choices in their lives.

WEDNESDAY

Pray for yourselves. Ask God for His forgiveness and thank Him for His presence in your life.

THURSDAY

Pray for our church's leaders for perseverance. wisdom and peace of mind.

FRIDAY

Pray for all the missionaries around the world who do God's work for from their families and friends. Pray for courage and peace.

SATURDAY

Pray for our youth that are far from home in college and university. Pray for guidance and strength.

Pray for patience, tolerance and love towards your family, your neighbour and for your coworkers.

MONDAY

Pray for your boss. Pray for wisdom and guidance.

TUESDAY

Read James 5:13-16.

WEDNESDAY

Choose a hymn or song that you like and sing it to the Lord with all your heart (even if you think you don't sing well). He does not care if you are off key; He looks at your heart. So sing it and sing it loud!

THURSDAY

Pray in thanksgiving for the friends that God has placed in your life. Pray that you would know how to be a good friend to them and how to support them when they are in need.

FRIDAY

Bless the Lord! Pray that His name be lifted high now and forevermore! (Psalm 96)
