The boys at Locus were struggling to put the sparkle back into cladding panels on this building on a very tight budget. Stuck with a client without the budget for the full restoration No matter how hard they scrubbed it didn't look any better. We are also able to offer through the BROMOCO Network the facility of Main Contractor for decapitations works Fast Surveys Our international network of companies and surveyors means we can be onsite to complete surveys and test areas within days of receiving a survey request or tender document Quote System We can undertake a single survey yet still provide 3 quotations from 3 of our companies who specialise in the areas of works required. Enquiries As there still seems to be a misunderstanding regarding Company leads and own generated leads It is worth reminding you guys. BROMOCO International conduct costly marketing exercises and has done over the years such as email marketing, website, Google and CPD lectures, existing customers and training of building surveyors. When a lead comes into head office then it means that it has one been generated by one of these media activities and is known as a “Head Office Enquiry” Head Office Enquiry These leads are under the control of BROMOCO International and will stop our Network companies competing with each other as has happened last year leaving to bad feelings all round. We have removed the list of companies from the website as some clients were sending out for quotations from 4 or 5 companies in the network. Now all Head Office leads will be awarded to the most relevant member either by region or specialist ability such as abseiling or equipment etc Own generated enquiries and own existing customers Should an enquiry come to head office that is an existing customer of a member then it will be forwarded to the relevant member and BROMOCO will only serve to supply products and advise.

WORDS FROM WOOTTON The importance of carrying out a site survey & Test sample Survey and test samples are important and are an absolute must to carry out in order to achieve realistic costing's. It is not advisable to cost jobs through site plans and Google earth. The reason we do this because they are many different variables we need to consider. Identifying the surface Powder Coating or anodised Previous Wax coatings applied Blooming Heavy corrosion Surfaces might have been previously painted with low-end quality paint methods or Silicone coatings If these areas are not identified the result could be very costly and not to mention embarrassing for you and the Client n Powder coated surface and anodised require different coatings EVB 23309E EVB 23309E is a crystal-clear high-performance coating that restores the original colour and lustre to powder coated aluminium, painted metals and AA1665D is a revolutionary Surface Finishing for finer finishing and unrivalled protection of anodised aluminium Even though we have total faith in our products the reason a test panel may fail is due to the surface had previously been treated by an inferior wax product. Removal of wax from powder coated surfaces can be challenging and even more from Anodised. This can almost double and can treble your Preparation time. There is a totally different preparation procedure using thinners and sanding wet paper and dry rubbing abrasive pads not to mention labour intensive. Also, a powder coating surface may show signs of blooming or sever corrosion and deterioration in this case a different approach would be needed such as paint repairs and fine finishing procedures which is additional cost. There has been some occasions where we have come across low end painting applications applied to window frames which showing signs of peeling and cracking from the paint. There is nothing we can really do to remedy this scenario. This would just be an embarrassing situation you could put yourself in if you had not visited to carry out survey All Bromoco applicators need to make a site survey and test panel a key essential to the process
The History of BROMOCO products Early Days "In the beginning" In the late nineties our founder was working in the construction industry working primarily in restoration of commercial buildings. He noticed that dull and faded window frames and cladding were either being replaced at high costs or window cleaners were being employed to "try and make them look better" The efforts the window cleaners were varied with most of them turning to car products such as waxes, polishes and T Cut type products which left a reasonable but short term result. Since then many have move on to use "sacrificial coatings" which do not fare any better giving a poor initial result and a very short life span eventually turning white after just one summer.Sadly in our experience all companies claiming to restore window frames and cladding are still using the same or similar products to this day
In the early 2000's "Learning curves" we developed an extensive range of bespoke products for the building, automotive and domestic markets. In 2011 we decided to concentrate on the building restoration industry with our focus on the restoration of Aluminium windows and curtain walling offering a long-term solution to dull and faded powder coated and anodised finishes as well as cladding and stainless steel. We developed specific systems for all substrate used in the construction of modern buildings. Our focus was to supply our customers with the highest quality products and provide outstanding levels of service, incapable of being matched by our competitors and thereby increasing our market share.
BROMOCO System "establishing the brand" Concerned that the high levels of application would be strictly adhered to and to protect the brand an application company was formed and "BROMOCO Systems" was born. BROMOCO System were the ONLY company authorised to apply BROMOCO products and systems and completed hundreds of successful contracts for many companies both large and small including the McLaren Formula One home in Woking which is still looking amazing over a decade later providing conclusive proof of the longevity of BROMOCO products. Our stainless steel restoration and protection systems and products were also applied to many buildings, structures and internal elements of buildings including Canary Wharf in London. Our products have been applied to buildings and structures Worldwide as far as India, USA, UAE and Europe. Having a single company providing the service covering the whole of the UK and Europe was woefully inefficient. As a result along with limited funding and staffing issues by the end of 2017 BROMOCO Systems was under pressure due to non and late payments from some of its clients brought on by the collapse of main contractors such as Carillion and regrettably it was decided for it to go into administration in early 2018
Authorised applicators "Rethinking and restructuring" The long-term plan was always to train and establish a skilled group of independent companies throughout the UK and Europe fully trained in the restoration, preparation and application of BROMOCO Product. When we launched the Applicator network in early 2018 the response for companies to join us was overwhelming due to the strength of our product range, history and reputation for quality and longevity. Having a group of authorised applicators was by far the most efficient way of covering the entire country and we able to offer BROMOCO restoration and protection works at a more competitive and affordable rate. Since the formation of the group for the first time we have been able to undertake multiple contracts concurrently every week. Each application is covered by both an application guarantee as well as a manufactures guarantee ensuring peace of mind to our clients. We carry out regular inspection of all works to ensure the highest quality and long-lasting results.
BROMOCO Network "The future is clear" Such has been the success of the Applicator group that by the end of 2019 it became evident the companies that had joined our Authorised Applicator Group had a wealth of experience and were established in many areas of the maintenance and of buildings. We were able to offer ALL maintenance and restoration services as well as Main Contractor with a combined experience of over 200 years.
