Q: We are retiling our kitchen backsplash and I have no idea how high up to install the tile. Any guidelines?
A: For a general rule, we typically would say an inch or so above the base of the cabinet if you are wanting to do a smaller amount of tile. But, our designer preference would be to bring it all the way to the ceiling. It adds such height and impact!
