OSHA 10: General Industry

The course meets the requirements by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s 10-hour certification for general industry. Topics include Introduction to OSHA, walking and working surfaces, exit routes, emergency action plans, fire prevention plans, fire protection, PPE, hazard communications and various other occupational hazards possible in the workplace. SECURITY

Security Guard I & II

This course provides the mandatory training required to take the unarmed security guard licensing test administered by the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET). Basic private security knowledge and procedures are taught. No certification is earned, but the certificate of completion will allow the participant to sit for the licensing test. Test is administered at Meridian Technology Center on Monday evenings as well as other approved locations statewide. Private Investigator: Phase 3

This course provides the mandatory training required to take the private investigator security guard licensing test administered by the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET). Basic private investigation is taught. UTILITY LOCATING

Certification Training

The Utility Locating Certification Training program includes classroom learning and outdoor presentations. An opportunity to take Staking U’s written certification test is available at the end of class. Staking U’s certified trainers will be teaching the course. Their Locator Certification Seminars (LCS) are designed to aid locators in developing:

• Superior troubleshooting techniques • Skills to consistently provide accurate and complete utility location information • A mastery of locating equipment • Skills required to pass Staking U’s locator certification test
