Four simulated hospital rooms are equipped with stateof-the-art Laerdal® simulators, audio/video recording capabilities, touch screen patient monitors, crash cart, Broselow cart and a variety of medical equipment common to health care providers. The safe and forgiving environment allows medical professionals and first responders to practice and perfect life-saving procedures.

Safety and repetition are the two major benefits in training with simulation. Teams of learners can be placed in difficult situations and work through the process of caring for a patient. If trainees fail to act or choose an incorrect action that causes detrimental effects for the patient, they are able to learn from the mistake without causing actual harm.

• Users can record training sessions for enhanced debriefing through the lab’s full audio and video capabilities.
• Audio and video capabilities allow the scenario to be broadcast live to larger groups that are not an active part of the training exercise.
