Trends are something that binds us to a time. Shoulder pads and giant hair to help our parents relive the 80’s, poodle skirts and saddle shoes to bring us into the Grease fan girl era, and now the “Princess Diana” sweatshirt and biker shorts has made a comeback. Fashion may be one of the biggest polluting industries in the world but hey, at least it recycles. Trends are shuffled through and reformed and resurrected year in and year out. Trends are an important part of fashions history. Colors lead trends. The colors that dominate the industry trickle up to couture from street style and vise versa. Right now we are in the birth of the Re brand era. All brands are changing their logos, changing their aesthetics to adjust with the times, but through all of this one thing stays constant. That is color. Color is something that all the brands share regardless of its scale. Fashion is not complicated. Everyone follows and copies everyone that’s why things like Diet Prada exist, but color is always off limits. Everyone has the rights to color. And color is always shared. TOBE is here to show you all the ways colors are shared between brands and linked to the high end and low ends of the spectrum. Florals for Fall are actually ground breaking and colors having specific seasons? Never heard of her. Happy Trend Hunting, Editor and Chief

Pastels aren’t just stuck in spring anymore. Colors no longer have a specific season as long as you look fabulous who cares right? The Primary Colors in this story are Fairy Dust, Sweet Pink, and Skylight. The Secondary Color is a Refreshmint giving any outfit that nice cool and sophisticated upgrade. The Tertiary POPS include a Marigold and a Dark Sea Foam to add dimension to your fit and any pattern. A pastel color story says that “I may look sweet but do not cross me.” Sugar, spice and everything nice? Even Miranda Priestly approves.

This color story defines fun and flirty. Big personalities want to stand out and demand attention just by walking in the room. Clothing speaks louder than words can and this story is the best way to express yourself. The Primary Colors are Rocket Pop, Parrot Red, and Sunnyville Yellow. To compliment them is the Secondary Color Barbie Pink, which c’mon, who doesn’t love a good Barbie Pink. The Tertiary POPS in this story don’t shy away from a challenge either. Teeny Bopper and Mojito add the perfect amount of WOW to any drab Fall day.

modern looks Color may spice up an outfit, but nothing feels as good as a classic. Neutrals have always been there just not as appreciated until now. New Neutrals are coming forward to give your monochrome sleek fit a pick me up. The Primary Colors are Ebony Brown, Toasted Almond, and Warm Sand. The Secondary Color is what we like to call a New Neutral which is called Nude Pink, and we are here for it. The Tertiary POPS are French Cabernet and Burnt Orange Chestnut. With nudes like these who needs clothes...
