It is not unusual for locals to play a guitar or sing along to the radio with the driver, you can even buy chocolates or empanadas from local sellers who jump on and off the buses each time it slows down! Local artists buy wall space and even the steps on some of the streets have become the most impressive works of art!

UNESCO - There are many museums in this UNESCO world heritage city, all are worth a visit. If you only have time to see a couple then I recommend The El Fonck museum in nearby Vina Del Mar which is home to an Easter Island Moai and La Sebastiana Museum - the former home of famous poet and Nobel prize winner Pablo Neruda. Wine Tours - Of course no visit to Chile would be complete without taking a wine tour and the Casablanca Valley is close by. The vineyards are beautiful and are worth a visit just for the scenery which is simply stunning. Visit Modern Vina Del Mar Here you will find casino’s, luxury hotels, an abundance of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes, salsa clubs, open parks, shopping and of course the beach. The choice is yours! Pass a few hours strolling along the vibrant streets of Vino Del Mar, people watching from a local bar or if you prefer a less strenuous activity why not chill out on the Golden Sands of the local beach. There is so much to do in this diverse city. It really is a place that will capture your heart.

A major hub for Mediterranean cruising, there are few ports more accessible and attractive than Palma de Mallorca. Mallorca has always been one of my favourite destinations with a glamorous lifestyle and laid back beach culture.
Wonderful for wandering - As you cruise into the port, the beautiful palm lined boulevard is in view and stretches along the coastline towards the centre of town. Once on land, it’s easy to walk into the main town along the esplanade and rediscover your land legs. Lined with smart cafes, it’s the perfect stop for a coffee or something more refreshing. It is the cosmopolitan café society and chic little shops that line the back streets and plazas that give this city its lovely atmosphere. It’s a wonderful destination for wandering.
Palma Cathedral - In the town centre and perfect for photo opportunities, the iconic cathedral looms over the town with its honey coloured façade and stained glass rose windows glinting in the sun.
Soller by train - If you have an overnight in port or have extended your stay by a couple of nights, the traditional train journey from Palma to Soller is beautiful and a nice contrast from Palma city. The little railway starts in Palma and winds its way through the open countryside and orange groves up to the mountain village of Soller. Soller is a traditional mountain town with a main square just outside the station with some small shops and cafes but the journey does not stop in Soller itself. The train ticket includes a traditional tram ride from the station down the hill into the Port of Soller. This is a chance to see a traditional quaint Mallorquin seaside town- very different from the bigger resorts on the island. All in all Mallorca is fantastic destination with something for everyone, from its buzzing resorts to its millionaire yachts from its family beaches to its exclusive mountain villas.
