At Brooks, we are fortunate to have a remarkably dedicated and supportive parent community. From volunteering at on- and o -campus events and games to sharing professional experiences and connections, Brooks parents truly step up. e Brooks Together parent drive for the Brooks Fund is one of these areas where we are incredibly grateful for our parent support as both donors and volunteers. Every year, members of the Brooks community — alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty and friends — are asked to consider making a charitable contribution to the Brooks Fund. A vital aspect of our nancial model, the Brooks Fund provides resources for every facet of school. From faculty salaries and nancial aid to classroom and facility needs, 11 percent of our operating budget comes from the Brooks Fund. is year, we are striving to raise $2.5 million for the 2023-2024 Brooks Fund. We welcome families to support the Brooks Fund via our Brooks Together parent drive. Last year, parents contributed nearly $1 million to Brooks Together, which represented 40 percent of the overall Brooks Fund. e support of our families is truly appreciated and impactful! Our goal for this year is to reach out to every family in the Brooks community to talk about your personal commitment to Brooks Together. Gi s can be made online via the website, check, securities and Venmo. We also have included a pledge card and reply envelope for your convenience. Questions about Brooks Together can be directed to Director of the Brooks Fund and Family Engagement Mary Merrill: mmerrill@brooksschool.org.
