Remote Learning Days: Schools Closed Through April 30th, 2020 Dear Brookwood School District 167 Parents and Guardians: On behalf of the Board of Education, we appreciate all of your patience and support as we continue our transition into Remote Learning Days. During these unprecedented times, our main concern is the connectedness and care for our students and one another as we maintain continuity of learning. We recognize the importance of checking student engagement/attendance to help monitor which students may need additional support in accessing instruction. We are able to distribute technology devices (on loan) to any student in need. Parents needing a technology device for their child, can pick-up a technology device for learning (on loan) on Tuesday April 7th, 2020 from 9:30 am – 11:30 am at their child’s school. During the time of pick-up for a technology device, parents will be required to sign a User Agreement for the technology loan. If you cannot pick up a device on April 7th, 2020, you can contact your child’s Principal to schedule an alternative time for pick up. Our teachers are receiving legal updates and information to ensure that all students’ confidentiality rights are protected. Most importantly, we are focusing on the health of our families, both physically and mentally. 201 E. Glenwood-Dyer Road Glenwood, IL 60425
