Sneak Preview Of My Kitchen Secrets

We all have our secrets, don’t we! Whether it’s the cheat sheet to crack an exam, or that little shortcut to make a perfect cocktail at a house party. And then we wait to share it with a friend over coffee. Here is something for my dear readers; you all will love because it comes from my kitchen diaries!

When I am in the kitchen, I love to experiment and enjoy the whole experience of baking Brownies. So let me share some secrets of my kitchen.

Go ahead! use them and share with me your feedback.

Don’t we all love Chocolate, so why shy away from the variants – Next time you go shopping, either to the next door grocery store or online, enjoy the variants of chocolate. In dark flavors, smoked and even chocochips. They just make a good accompaniment in the batter for amazing Brownies. Feel free to indulge in the rich cocoa powders from the gourmet stores. I personally love the organic ones. They go well too into the mix and feel good factor is even more. Just make sure if you plan to melt the chocolate, you use a double boil arrangement, we don’t want to sin with any burning of these exotic chocolate.

Don’t just settle for any flavor suggested in the recipe. Experiment. Yes! If you want to try caramel or a simple fruit sauce in the Brownie, go ahead and indulge. I say, keep trying out and you will get a signature flavor of your own to enjoy with your family

this summer. How do you think I invented the Rocky Road Brownie! I was once in my kitchen pantry and saw my daughter’s bar of Rocky Road in the cookie jar. I saw a lot of good ingredients like walnuts, marshmallows, chocolate staring at me, and voila!! Next minute they were in the mix…

Stock them right Yes, the ingredients have to be stocked up in extra quantity. Yes we love to measure and stock fresh, but as a seasoned baking hand, let me tell you – stocking a little extra goes a long way. Sometimes we get surprise visits or we have an impromptu request for spongier Brownie from the youngest member in the family. You don’t want to be running around asking for a quick trip to the store. So my advice is stock up extras; chocolate, flour etc and it will save you so much hassle. Plus you have an excuse to bake again and again!

They are not just pots n pans – your shining armor in the kitchen! Friends this one is like the untold truth, but invest in your kitchenware. A good pan, baking moulds, spatula with that perfect grip just count so much. They make the whole experience so rich and indulging in the kitchen. I have an amazing stand

mixer and a special flour sifter at home, which I really love! I pick these tools online or when I travel or through my shopping trips. I scout for perfect tools that fit my hand and are simply easy to maintain. I recommend you invest in good baking tools and keep it for life. After all the kitchen is your creative heaven.

Do you have some experiences that you would like to share? Some tips? Maybe tips for baking or just general kitchen tips?

Write to me and together we can help make a difference to someone and create smiles.
