Sponsored by a partnership between Tarleton State University and the US Small Business Administration, the Tarleton Small Business Development Center provides a multitude of services to our clients in Brown County and our 10 county area for starting a new business or expanding an existing business. The types of services offered include: • Confidential Counseling - A professional SBDC counselor can work with you developing a business plan for a new business or updating a business plan for an existing business. Assistance may include market research and financial analysis of projected sales or existing financial statements. • Training -Training includes such subjects as: Starting your own business, Quick Books, Marketing Strategies, Environmental Regulations, and Federal and State tax considerations. • Research- SBDC counselors have access to the National SBDC Clearing House research services and to other state and local U.S. Census demographic data for assisting clients with marketing research and site selections. • Specialty Programs - Just a few of the things we offer are: Assistance in Government Procurement, International Trade, Manufacturing and Rural Outreach. “’Our goal is to make your business successful”!
