Provides judges greater discre�on to adjust past due fines or financial circumstances by a person who violates certain traffic offenses based on inability to pay.

Parole residency regula�on requiring child sex abuse offenders, upon release from incarcera�on, to reside at least 2,000 feet away from the vic�m

Dura�onal Residency in Divorce SB 828 JDC HB 565 JHA, FIN (2/16)

Eliminate residency requirements to ini�ate & complete a divorce in Hawaii. This is helpful in domes�c violence vic�ms, or military service members, or others seeking jus�ce.

Reconstructed Vehicle SB 57 TRS, CPN (2/18)

Eliminates the "obsolete" addi�onal inspec�on required for reconstructed cars which are already subjected to "safety checks."

Requires DLIR to open at least one office in each county for UI claims. Requires library staff to have some knowledge in assis�ng in UI claims process. DLIR required to increase capacity and to upgrade computer system within 6 months.

Amends ballot requirements to display candidate for trustees by residency & non-residency AND to randomize the order within those grouping.

Requires that TWO of the FOUR At-Large OHA trustees to have a rural district residency requirement while the other TWO At-Large board of trustees be from an urban district.

(RESO) Studies the benefits/impact of transferring the jurisdic�on of the Island Burial Council (IBC) from the DLNR to OHA.
