The rise and rise of Rork Projects From unassuming beginnings in Canberra, Rork Projects has established itself as one of Australia’s prominent Indigenous construction companies. For over two decades, Rork Projects has offered comprehensive and tailored solutions across the education, medical, corporate and government sectors. The multi award-winning business now proudly boasts some 85 staff working across offices in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane - who run up to 30 projects at any one time all over the country. Co-owned by Canberrans Brian O’Rourke and John Paul Janke, Rork Projects’ excellence in quality and service has been recognised with a number of outstanding industry awards.

Rork Projects’ national reach and demonstrable experience enables it to successfully deliver diverse fit-out, refurbishment and design and construct projects across a broad range of industry sectors. Rork Project’s ACT General Manager Scott Lamb (pictured bottom left) is co-ordinating a diverse range of current projects here in Canberra including the ACT Government’s City Walk Upgrade and Landscaping project, fit -out and security upgrades at the High Court of Australia and major mechanical upgrades to the Australian Institute of Sport’s Visitors Centre and AIS gymnasium / volleyball courts and the high performance athletes pool. Recent completed projects include roof replacements to multiple buildings at ADFA, Westpac’s Civic Quarter Office and also infrastructure upgrades works for CIT Fyshwick and Bruce campuses. As an Indigenous Business, Rork Projects’ vision is to meaningfully engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to build reciprocal capacity, leverage on and create opportunities for Indigenous employment and businesses from procurement.
