* BDNAC is the sole national accrediting body * Functions (BDNAC Order, 2011): * To implement and update the BDQF * To accredit programmes, qualifications and higher
education providers, * To conduct institutional audit and review of programmes, qualifications and higher education providers * To act as a qualification reference centre on accredited programmes, qualifications and higher education providers.
There are eight (8) levels of qualifications under this framework, which are divided into three education sectors – school, technical and vocational, and higher education.

B) Accreditation procedure i. Receive course accreditation application. ii. Collect relevant information. iii. Prepare paperwork for Ad-hoc and JKK Committee (Education) meetings iv. Recommendations from the Ad-hoc and JKK to MKPK. v. MKPK convene meeting and decide on outcome of the application.
