Dec. 5 – 11 is Influenza Vaccination Week
N
ational Influenza Vaccination Week (NIVW) is a national observance that highlights the importance of continuing influenza vaccination through the holiday season and beyond. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend an annual influenza vaccine for everyone 6 months of age and older to reduce the risk of illness and hospitalization. Now is a great time to vaccinate to protect your family, friends, and yourself. Medicare Part B covers one influenza vaccination and

e have been off to a good start this year! People all over the world have been showing love and compassion to others. I am here to help spread the love and compassion. Did you know that there are over 365 manufacturers’ programs that can help you with your medication cost? Did you know that you have access to local retailers that offer medications at a low price to free? These include Wal-Mart, Publix, GoodRx, Sam’s, Costco, Patient Access Network (PAN Foundation), and many more. Brunswick Senior Resources, Inc. has a prescription coordinator who will help guide you in the right path of this medication maze. It’s so easy to enter the maze, but navigating out
is the scary part. Marilou Smith and Vikki Hine are happy to help you with your medication needs, and we will help you the whole way. We will work directly with you, your healthcare provider, and the manufacturer program to help you obtain your medications at a low cost to FREE! It doesn’t matter if you are insured, underinsured, or not insured, we are here to help you.
