But I hope to have significant data on how music has improved the quality of life and the environment for both residents and staff,” Rehder says.
As of April 30, 2022, the therapeutic musicians have delivered 1,356 sessions. What a beautiful gift.

Beth Klahre received her certificate for Public Music for Medical Environments in May, which qualifies her to offer live music in public areas of hospital, hospice, nursing homes, and other medical environments. “I am excited to be working with Julie soon!” Beth says.
Carole Green, the first certified music practioner in our area, plays her harp with a dementia patient.
Medicare Open Enrollment Begins Oct. 15
medicare Open Enrollment will begin Oct. 15 and go until Dec. 7. This is the time of year when you can review your prescription drug and Medicare Advantage Plan coverage. Changes to your coverage can be made at this time. The SHIIP program is here to help you. We have volunteer counselors available to meet with you at each of our five centers, by appointment only.
