P hoto Shot List

This is a list of photos we try to take day of the wedding. It is up to the couple, family, and guests, to help us make sure these photos are taken care of. When you and your families help us day of with who needs to be in the photos and which photos you would like taken, everything goes really well.

We don’t want to miss any important photos, but it is difficult to remember photos requested before the wedding. This list helps us all know what photos are wanted the day of the wedding, but we will not be referring to it at the wedding and we will not have it on hand. Please feel free to add any photos you would like, but this list is not a contract of photos you will receive.

Posed Family Photos After the Ceremony Family Photos are the most hectic part of the wedding day. It really helps to have a couple friends or family members who know everyone who can help us get everyone together and ready to smile at the camera. We try to move through family photos as fast as possible so we can get to wedding party photos and most importantly your bride and groom photos. The more time family and wedding party photos taken, the less time we have to do bride and groom photos.

Group photos take on average 3 minutes per group. We ask for the bride and groom to each make a list of 5 groups. 3 minutes x 10 groups = 30 minutes of family photos Example List : 1. Immediate family with Grandparents 2. Grandparents 3. Neices & Nephews 4. Parents 5. Siblings There are small groupings within these groups that we do quickly. Such as when we take a photo of the bride & groom with bride’s parents, we will then break it down and have the groom step out for a bride shot with parents and then parents individually.

Write up your list of 5 groupings for the bride’s family and 5 for the groom’s family and give that list to the person (or two people) who will be helping us get family together. This person (or persons) should be someone who knows everyone on the list and can take charge.
