The night’s keynote speaker, Lt Col Jim Reese (former Delta Force Operator) will share his powerful stories of service, sacrifice, and the importance of supporting veterans' mental health He brings decades of military experience and personal insight into veterans' challenges when they return home
The board of A Better Colorado Foundation, including Jason Granger, Micah Buck, Shena White, Lauren Collins, Lauren Liebelson, Katie Martineau, and Niya Marino, has worked tirelessly to create this impactful event This 100% volunteer-driven team is dedicated to ensuring that every dollar raised goes directly to the cause Their collective goal is to provide veterans with the support they need to manage the challenges of PTSD and mental health
On Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, the 2nd Annual Saloon Soirée will take place at the Social Capitol in Arvada, Colorado Hosted by A Better Colorado Foundation, this western-themed event promises an evening of unforgettable entertainment, all in support of veterans in need The proceeds will go towards providing service dogs and mental health support for Colorado veterans suffering from PTSD
Founded by Jason Granger, a former Senior Airman in the Air Force Reserves, A Better Colorado Foundation is deeply committed to helping veterans Jason's personal connection to the veteran community drives the mission of the foundation, ensuring that veterans receive the mental health resources and services they deserve

RESEARCH FROM PURDUE UNIVERSITY HAS SHOWN THAT PAIRING VETERANS WITH SERVICE DOGS CAN REDUCE PTSD SYMPTOMS BY UP TO 82%.
A significant focus of this event is the provision of service dogs to veterans, offering them companionship, emotional support, and stability Service dogs are specially trained to recognize the signs of anxiety and panic attacks and to help veterans manage their symptoms The Max Fund No-Kill Shelter has joined the effort, waiving adoption fees for veterans, furthering the foundation’s mission to remove barriers for veterans in need of a service animal
In the U.S., about 22 veterans take their own lives each day, a heartbreaking figure that highlights the urgent need for events like the Saloon Soirée, which provides vital mental health support and resources. The funds raised will go toward life-saving services and programs that help veterans reclaim their lives and thrive
Sponsors play a critical role in making this event possible The Saloon Soirée is generously supported by Guardian USA, founded by veteran Micah Buck, which provides custom firearms, training, and tactical gear Infinity Marketing Group, a full-service digital marketing agency, is also on board, along with Greystone Technology, an IT and cybersecurity company committed to community impact
Additionally, Big Fish Foundation helps veterans transition to civilian life through mental health support, The Board Room supports veteran initiatives through its social club, and Momentum Counseling provides essential therapy services for veterans and their families
