Biography •

Born March 17, 1969 in London

1985: Left school for apprenticeship on Saville Row

Worked for theatrical costumers Angels and Bermans

At 20, employed by Koji Tastuno

Year later employed by Romeo Gigli

1992: Completes school at Central Saint Martins

1993: First Fashion show

1994: Earns Masters Degree; Begins friendship with Isabella Blow

1996: British designer of the year

1996-2001: Chief designer at French couture house Givenchy

2000: His label partnered with Gucci Group

2004: Created menswear line

2010: Dies at the age of 40
