My o t o h y P r e l l a r G u h c o r B
This landscape photo was taken in a beach, the wide angle of the shot of the land, sea and sky brings them together, so they can be seen as one. I used a low depth of field, so the boat would be the most focus. I also increased the exposure level thus more light could get in, resulting in it not being dark.
I took the photo in a garden in Jamaica. It is a combination a nature and a textural photo. I used a close-up framing with my smartphone. I used an eye-level angle to reduce the amount of shadows cast in the petals with the autofocus of the flash. The plants in the background are blurred out, but the luminescence of the colours are still soft and bright due to the low depth of field.
I merged this mid shot of a teenaged girl, with a close-up of a leaf to form the double exposure portrait. I used a low depth of fields for both photos, but I only used flash on the girl to show her highlights and shadow casts.
This photo was taken in Negril. I used the software Snapseed to create this effect to make it look like it was taken in a rural area in the past. Also, I got the sharp effect of the clouds using the ‘Sharpening Tool’. I took this long shot with x4.0 zoom on my smartphone and a high depth of field.
I achieve this photo by placing my phone over the water in a fountain to give the illusion that the building was sitting on the water. The shine from my flashlight created the glimmers in the water. I used a low depth of field, so the water would be the clearest.
I took this landscape photo of the ocean crashing of a boat. I used a high depth of field, so the rock beneath the water would be seen as well and give it a sharp look. By doing this it gave the water a transparent kind of look. the colour of the water is dark and ominous, which would give a horroric mood to the image.
