Our year in the Primary Library started with a bang with our annual Golden Ticket hunt. Story Walks for the younger years, competitions, books fairs, weekly music performances and even an escape room for WBD has made for a fun and busy 2023- 24. Our biggest project was the launch of the Outdoor Library, in collaboration with the Nursing Department and Cleveland Clinic to tackle the increase of myopia in children by encouraging time spent outside in natural light. And finally we must not forget our weekly story time for the littlest members of the BSAK Community.
A Mile a Day
One Stop Shop PRIMARY WELLBEING
Term 3 has had a wellbeing focus for staff, receiving training on the Psychology of Behaviour and attachment theory. This CPD has helped us keep reviewing how we connect with the children in our classes, in our year groups and across the whole Primary school to ensure that everyone has a true sense of belonging.
