Brian Sawyer

I didn't have a love for design for most of my life, after I took a Set Design course I found that I loved creating new, dynamic spaces for the stage. But it was temporary; the show would end and we would tear down the set, leaving a blank stage in its wake. That transient type of design was not entirely fulfilling for me. I had a strong desire to create something of lasting value that could out live the final curtain call. So I visited a few Architecture schools and I could see the intensity as well as the level of design that was taking place, and I was immediately drawn to it. Fast forward six years, and I have graduated with my Bachelors Degree, and am on the verge of graduating with a Dual Masters degree in Architecture and Business Administration. I know that I have the drive, creativity, and the skills to be successful in Architecture, and in the future I hope to practice Architecture; it is a dream of mine to create a building that will have a great impact society.
