our story It’s a cold, rainy fall day. Perfect weather for curling up on the couch with a nice cup of tea and a good book or movie. However, more time is often spent to make the decision of what book or movie to pick or even what tea to have than actually relaxing and reading or watching a movie with your cup of tea. Cozy Tea Co. was created as a solution to this problem. The decision process of what tea flavor, what book or movie, and even a snack made easier. Every season, Cozy Tea Co. chooses three books and three movies. We then take each book and movie and pair it with a tea and snack inspired by either the title, theme, or element relating to the book or movie. At Cozy Tea Co., we want you to not only enjoy a cup of tea but also have a complete experience with that cup of tea. So, no need to worry about all the decisions, just sit back, relax, and enjoy.

the box The box contains six loose leaf tea packages, six snack packages, a card with three movie suggestions, and a card with three book suggestions. On the card, the paired tea and snack will follow the title of the book or movie suggestion. The welcome box will include a Cozy Tea Co. mug and a tea steeper as well. The box will arrive at the beginning of each season. We have paired with Amazon Prime to provide the movies each season. Each subscriber will be provided with a link to the movie list and receive access to the selections. We have also paired with Barnes and Noble to give a discount code to purchase the book selections.

social justice Here at Cozy Tea Co., reading is a big part of our lives. We value reading as a way to expand our horizons and to learn more about our world and the people around us. For this reason, Cozy Tea Co. has partnered with Room to Read to support their mission of pursuing literacy and gender equality in education. With every subscription box sent, we will donate 2 books to Room to Read. On our website, we will also have a partnered mug available for purchase with all proceeds from those sales going directly to Room to Read.

It’s More Than Tea – It’s an Experience Cozy Tea Co. hits the market with a new tea subscription box Chicago, Il. (December 7, 2020) – Cozy Tea Co. is a new tea subscription box that offers more than just tea. The box comes with movie and book suggestions with snacks and tea matched to each selection. Cozy Tea Co. is a seasonal subscription box delivered straight to subscribers’ doors for their enjoyment. The Cozy Tea Co. tea subscription box offers an experience to enjoy alongside the perfect cup of tea. Each box comes with six tea flavors and six snacks. Each tea and snack are then paired to one of three book suggestions or one of three movie suggestions. The tea and snack selection are inspired by the movie or book it is paired with to offer a complete experience. Cozy Tea Co. helps to eliminate the long process of choosing a tea, a snack, and a book or movie. the market Cozy Tea Co.’s market is men and women, ages 20-50, who consume tea daily. They are also avid movie watchers and book readers. They are in the upper middle class and live in urban and suburban areas. When people go to drink tea, 40% are looking to relax and 38% are drinking to have a pleasurable experience. We want to enhance the relaxation and pleasure by offering more than just tea, but a whole experience.

print ad The print ad highlights the main elements of Cozy Tea Co. - tea, books, and movies - as well as our website as a call to action. The ad will run in People magazine. People does book and movie reviews and lists, and the ad would fit next to these lists. Cozy Tea Co. would also consider reaching out to People to get their lists and match up our selections with their choices as well for added reinforcement. People’s specs for a full page ad are 7-1/8 x 10.

social media Platform: * The social media platform that Cozy Tea Co. will primarily use will be Instagram. Instagram has many features such as Posts, Stories, Highlights, Reels, and IGTV. Goals: * Generate Brand Awareness * Create an interactive space to communicate with consumers * Create a community around the brand for consumer to consumer discussion Pre-Launch Strategy: * Post content to introduce the brand * Box sneak peeks to generate interest Launch Strategy: * Post book synopses and use Reels/IGTV features to post movie trailers for the first season’s selections * Introduce the tea flavors for the month * Use Poll feature on Stories to have consumers try and guess what teas go with each selection to generate excitement Post-Launch Strategy: * Repost consumer pictures enjoying their boxes on Stories * Use Suggestion feature on Stories for consumers to make book and movie suggestion for next season * Leading up to the next box, post the synopses and trailers, introduce the tea flavors, and have consumers try to guess the pairings. * Create a Highlight for each season for subscribers to go back to to see the lists and flavors

packaging On the outside of the packaging, the main elements of Cozy Tea Co. are featured with the movie reel, the books, and the logo. The tea cup is also included on the inside of the packaging. Within the box, the loose leaf tea will be packaged in a bag, and the snacks will be in a smaller box. The starter box will have a reusable tea steeper and a Cozy Tea Co. branded mug. It will also come with movie and book selection pairing cards.
