EAL teacher The British School of Guangzhou is looking to recruit a suitably experienced EAL teacher to join our very successful Early Years department in November 2014. The successful applicant will need to have relevant experience of teaching English as a second language and have the ability to deliver a high quality language experience to Reception age children on our Lakefront Campus. The following are considered essential for all applicants:
A bachelors degree or higher (English related degree is an advantage) An EAL/ESL qualification (CELTA or higher is preferred) A minimum of two years working experience. A working knowledge of the UK national curriculum An understanding of EAL in the mainstream philosophy and practice Early Years teaching experience

Experience in an international environment Good interpersonal skills (a team player) Experience of using technology to enhance learning Experience teaching a wide age-range of students Experience of IGCSE or A-Level programmes of study
