Anti-Bullying Week This week has been anti-bullying week across the country. At Blandford St Mary Primary School we decided to hold a competition to give the children an opportunity to share a piece of work promoting anti-bullying. The piece can take any form: a poster, a poem, a song… anything. For the piece to be considered as part of the competition we would like you to attach the slip below to the entry and then hand to the office. If it’s a recording (maybe a video or a song) then let us know on the slip where to find it—it may be on a disk, Youtube or it may need to be performed live to Mr Lavis! (If you’ve already handed something in—don’t panic—we’ll attach a form to your entry for you!) The deadline for entries is Friday 30th November and we’ll announce winners shortly afterwards. Good luck!

Notice Board Collection arrangements

Drop--In School Nurse Drop

Can we please remind you, that any change to the regular collection arrangements for your child/children, must be reported to the school office. Unless we know that your child is regularly collected by someone other than a parent/ guardian, we will not allow them to leave school unless we have had prior notification. If the person you have asked to collect your child for you, is not familiar to us, we will ask you to set a password that the person collecting will know, they will then be expected to come to the office to introduce themselves and confirm the password. We really do appreciate your co-operation with this.

The next School Nurse drop in is on Wednesday 12th December at 8.50am. Please let the office or one of the class teachers know if you would like to make an appointment to see Sarah. You can also just pop in on the day.
