Our Staff Our staff come from all over the world and many are bi or multilingual. Most teachers have spent a number of years teaching in the UK and bring considerable up to date experience of teaching the English National Curriculum. A significant number of the support staff are recruited locally. Each campus is led by a Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher. They are supported by Senior Leaders who work collaboratively with teams of teachers to raise standards for all students.
You can expect to be teaching alongside adults who continually strive to provide the best opportunities for all students.

Our Curriculum Our Junior School curriculum is based on the Early Years Foundation Stage and English National Curriculum and has been expertly adapted to meet the unique needs of our international student body and context. Each campus has a large, stimulating outdoor area including an exclusive space designed to suit the learning needs of the Foundation Stage students. The quality of equipment and administrative technology is centrally supported and all classrooms have first class technology facilities. The curriculum provision is enriched by specialist teaching of Dutch, Music and Physical Education. Specific intervention is provided throughout the school for students new to English and those with Additional Educational Needs by a team of specialist teachers and teaching assistants, deployed to each year group. All staff contribute to the running of the very popular Co-Curricular Activity programme run after school.
Professional Learning All BSN staff are committed to their ongoing professional learning and take advantage of the wide range of opportunities available on campus or within the BSN to keep enhancing their practice. Our International Leadership Academy runs high quality programmes with credible partners, many of which are accredited. BSN staff are able to join with external clients to learn together at this impactful centre. All staff track their developmental journey by setting annual professional objectives using the BSN preferred online platform; BlueSky. These objectives link to the School Development Plan to ensure everyone is contributing to the forward-facing direction of the organisation.
