Syracuse University Press and the American University of Beirut have signed an agreement under which the press will act as distributor of AUB publications in North and South America. Syracuse University Press will advertise, publicize and sell the backlist as well as future publications of the University. During the past year, the Office of University Publications served individual orders for AUB books and professional publications directly from Beirut. A client in the U.S. had to wait between two and three months before he received his order. Following the new agreement it will take only one week to meet such orders. The first step Syracuse University Press will take to promote AUB publications is a publicity campaign covering book trade journals and centers of Middle Eastern studies.

Mailing Address The new winter mailing address of Daniel and Winifred R. Bliss is: Route 3, Box 438, Orlando, Florida 32811. Telephone (305) 299 - 4869. The summer address is: Georgetown, Maine 04548.
