No matter when you plan on checking out, you MUST leave your room/studio apartment in a clean and tidy state. For those at BSV and the MB Shared Apartments, your RLs have created cleaning rosters for check-out.
You will not only be responsible for cleaning your bedroom, but communal areas as well. Everyone in BSV and MB Shared Apartments will be assigned a specific cleaning task, so please see your RL as soon as possible for details on cleaning expectations.
If your room is left dirty or if you do not contribute to the cleaning of common areas, charges will apply and an encumbrance will be placed on your Deakin account. You will not be able to access your results or re-enrol until the charges are paid. Please use the large skip bins for all rubbish when checking out. There are 2 bins located out the front of MB near the Futsal court and 2 bins located in the village at A2 and H1. Please ensure you fill the bins by entering via the open gate at the back to ensure everyone can use them. DO NOT use MB bin chutes as they will block up and cause significant damage. Respect your fellow residents and place all rubbish in bins provided. We now have several donation bins from the Salvation Army in the MB Bike storeroom. If you have clothes or bedding to donate, please clean and fold items first and then pop them in the bin neatly! Only clothes and linen are accepted. Thank you!
