Explore painting through watercolor with a class that focuses on observational painting from still life, landscape, and photos in a fun and supportive environment. Students gain experience with composition, color theory, layering, light, and shade. Students also learn how to integrate other types of water-based paints into our works, such as Gouache, to create different transitions and effects. The class may move outdoors to paint en-plein-air on nice days. No experience necessary. Price includes all basic materials. PASTEL WORKSHOP

Spend a day in our drawing and painting studio experimenting with versatile and colorful pastels. In this fun workshop, discover basic drawing and blending techniques to create an abstract or realistic piece on paper that you’ll be excited to bring home. All basic materials included. No experience necessary. Students should bring a bag lunch.
