The best thing about being a Butler basketball player is: Traveling and playing in cool cities and arenas. My favorite place on Butler’s campus is: Hinkle, where I spend most of my time. My favorite professor at Butler is: Donna Gray (Advertising). If I had to play another sport, I would play: Volleyball because I played for 6 years. My pregame ritual is: Listen to music and roll out my legs on the foam roller, then put pre-wrap in my hair and lather my muscles in flex-all. My favorite basketball team growing up was: Chicago Bulls because that’s who my parents watched when I was little. A place I’d like to visit: Paris, France and Italy. My favorite professor at Butler is: Dr. Pangan (Education). She is helpful, supportive and enthusiastic. In 10 years, I see myself: Married with kids and teaching elementary education and coaching basketball or softball or both. My pregame ritual is: Getting my back popped and saying a prayer during the national anthem. If I played another sport, I would play: Softball. I played my whole life and would’ve played in college had I not gotten a basketball scholarship. Claire Says... I decided to attend Butler because: Loved the atmosphere, the players and coaches. I like the fact that it’s close to home with great academics. The best thing about being a Butler basketball player is: Being with my teammates and feeling part of a team. My favorite place on Butler’s campus is: Hinkle Fieldhouse - so much history in that gym. My pregame ritual is: Listening to music. If I played another sport, I would play: Beach volleyball because volleyball is awesome and I love being in the sun all the time. In 10 years, I see myself: Married with kids working as a physician’s assistant. One thing people don’t know about me is: I am a Harry Potter nerd.
