Professional Audio Facilities

We have three main recording studios with vocal booths and live rooms, and three editing suites. Our studios, editing suites and Mac labs contain a range of professional equipment from companies such as: Dolby Atmos, Avid, Neumann, Focusrite, Universal Audio, Native Instruments, Rode, Sennheiser, Aston Microphones, Electrovoice, Genelec, KRK, Shure, Akai and Drawmer. All studios also feature a full range of industry-standard plug-ins for all your creative needs.

Animate Your Future

If animation and 3D game art is more your speed then our courses offer the chance to use professional-standard equipment, utilise all the knowledge and experience from our industry-experienced lecturers and tap into our array of industry connections and alumni.

You’ll have full access to motion-capture facilities such as Xsens and Faceware, labs with Maya, Nuke, Adobe Creative Cloud, Substance, Renderman and ZBrush. We’ll introduce you to digital graphics, character animation, visual effects and compositing. As your skills grow, you’ll discover your own specialisms to help support your career development. By the time you graduate, you’ll have a huge range of skills and a thorough understanding of the opportunities available in the industry.

From dual-boot computers and specialist labs to our cyber-resilience facility, you'll have all the software and hardware you need to support a Computing degree.

Pinewood Studios

If you're studying animation, game art, visualization, screenwriting or filmmaking, you'll split your time between our High Wycombe Campus and our BNU teaching base at the famous Pinewood Studios, learning in the heart of this creative hub.
