Nursing offers the opportunity to specialise in specific areas of care, and our courses are a great starting point to begin the next phase of your career. Whether you want to focus on Adult or Mental Health Nursing, our teaching teams have the experience to guide you through your studies.
This fast-track two-year degree programme integrates postgraduate academic study alongside practice-based learning. It is underpinned by a strong collaboration between the University, service users (experts by experience) and our NHS practice partners, helping you to gain the knowledge and skills you need for your future career in nursing.
We will support and nurture you throughout the programme, so you can become a compassionate, proficient, confident, and digitally-abled registered nurse. We will also prepare you for future leadership and specialist roles within the integrated care system.
We recognise simulation as an essential part in disseminating the required knowledge, skills and behaviours, that's why our Uxbridge Campus has state-of-the-art simulation facilities. Within this style of learning, real-time evolving clinical situations can be simulated, repeated and evaluated using reflection and debriefing to ensure you’re prepared for practice.
When it comes to clinical placements, we work with various NHS Trusts, as well as private and independent businesses. Many of our students are often employed by the Trust that they worked with during their time at the University.
