Berthoud Wrestling Club will be hosting its 2nd annual Shreddathon Community Fundraiser Saturday, March 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with help from Berthoud’s own Apex Shredding. We will be set up in the parking lot across from Subway on Third Street to offer a convenient drive-through for anyone able to help support this Berthoud Community Library District Story times and Events: March 2014 Irish Dance — March 13 at 10:30 a.m. Join us for a special Irish Dance demonstration and lesson. The Larimer County 4-H Clubs will hold their annual Carnival on Saturday, March 22. The event will be held in the First National Bank Building at the Larimer County Fairgrounds. Ticket cost is $1 each and they can be purchased from any Larimer County 4-H member. During the carnival they may be exchanged for five booth tickets and will also be an entry for the door prizes and grand prizes being given away. All proceeds from the carnival will go to the Larimer County 4-H Foundation to help support the over 1,200 4-H club members’ programs, events, scholarships and activities. Roxanne Bortnick will be presenting a “Fashions of the Decades” program featuring women’s clothing for every decade from 1890 to the present. There will be live models, as well as displays. The Larimer County Department of Health and Environment is taking nominations for the eighth Joseph Jabaily Public Health Hero Award. The Jabaily award was created by the Larimer County Board of Health in honor and in memory of Dr. Joseph Jabaily, a Loveland neurologist, community activist, volunteer and member of many boards in the county who died tragically after an accident in a charity bicycle race in summer of 2004. The award honors an individual or group who has contributed in an extraordinary way to public health in Larimer County or has made an outstanding contribution to public health in Larimer County over time.
