Bud Fawcett

Bud Fawcett was born in North Carolina in 1954 and escaped to the mountains of Lake Tahoe in 1988. He and his wife Elaine and daughter Lila moved to Switzerland in 2001 and returned to Portland, Oregon in 2003 for the birth of their second daughter Raina. He draws inspiration and credits his knowledge of photography to Walt Welker, Vance Fox, Hank deVre, Deacon Chapin (RIP) and his experiences as a photojournalist in California and North Carolina. Bud’s national and int’l clients have included: Homes and Land Magazine (Lake Tahoe and Portland, Oregon), Black Star Agency (New York City), Mountain Stock Photography and Film (Lake Tahoe), Outside Magazine, Skiing and Ski Magazine, Resort at Squaw Creek (Lake Tahoe), Squaw Valley USA, Burton Snowboards, Sims Snowboards, Kemper Snowboards, Transworld Snowboarding Magazine (USA and Japan), Snowboarder Magazine (USA and Germany), SB Journal, ISM, and Snowstyle Japan.
