For a served lunch or dinner, a provision fee of CHF 10.- per person will be charged as an expense allowance. If an additional room is required, an additional service fee of CHF 350.00 will be charged.

LOCATION

The hotel is centrally located next to Bern's main railway station and in the middle of the old town. All the city's sights can be reached in just a few minutes' walk. Whether you arrive by car or train - Bern, as the capital of Switzerland, is the optimal starting point for further experiences.

ROOMS

The 99 rooms and suites of the Hotel Schweizerhof Bern seduce with French charm while playing with English understatement. There is the herringbone oak parquet flooring, which, together with selected pieces of furniture and restored chandelier, radiates cosy warmth. Or the spacious bathroom with Japanese bathtub and rain shower, which invites you to feel good.

SPA

Immerse yourself in a world of relaxation in the only hotel spa in the heart of Bern: On around 500 square metres, both hotel and day guests can relax from the hectic daily routine. The area has a whirlpool with bubble loungers, massage jets, and splash shower, a steam bath, a Finnish sauna with a cold water pool, experience showers, and a relaxation room with water beds.

RESTAURANT JACK’S BRASSERIE

At Jack's Brasserie, with 14 Gault Millau points, indulgence is writ large. The hotel's own restaurant in a typical fin-de-siècle ambiance offers a classic menu, rounded off with seasonal and market-fresh dishes. Jack's Wiener Schnitzel is particularly popular - the best in Switzerland according to Gault Millau. Enjoy a wide selection of wines from all over the world, the sommelier will recommend the perfect wine.

LOBBY-LOUNGE-BAR

The lobby lounge bar is the ideal meeting place for hotel guests or Bernese, whether for a business meeting, a spontaneous lunch or a relaxed after-work drink.

CIGAR LOUNGE

Cigar lovers can choose from a wide yet select range of cigars in the Cigar Lounge. The considerable range of wines, whiskies and rums round off the evening in a stylish ambience. Various snacks, finger food delicacies and classics from the Schweizerhof kitchen are also served at lunchtime and in the evening.

OTHER TECHNICAL FACILITIES

Insofar as the hotel provides the organizer with technical aids or other facilities or procures these from third parties, it acts on behalf of the customer. The customer is liable for the good treatment and proper return and indemnifies the hotel against all claims of third parties. Faults in the technical facilities provided by the hotel shall be remedied immediately as far as possible. A withholding or reduction of payments cannot be made for this reason.

FLOWER ARRANGEMENTS

Our in-house floristry team will be happy to decorate the tables and rooms according to your wishes. We will be happy to make you a suitable offer.

NIGHT SURCHARGE

From 12:00 a.m., the following night-time supplement is charged:

Surcharge for 1-50 people: CHF 250.— per hour Surcharge for 51 people and above: CHF 400.— per hour

Only possible up to 3.00 a.m.

SERVED CLOAKROOM

0 – 4 hours

CHF 150.— 4 – 8 hours CHF 300.—

COAT RACK

We provide the racks free of charge in the hallway or in the seminar room (the hotel assumes no liability). From 60 persons, the served cloakroom must be booked obligatorily.

MENU AND WINE SELECTION

The hotel must receive the final menu and wine selection at least 14 days before the event.

TAP MONEY

The following prices are charged per 75 cl bottle for drinks brought in by the guests themselves:

Wine CHF 45.— Champagner CHF 60.— Liquors CHF 80.—

ROOM ASSIGNMENT

The hotel reserves the right to change rooms and spaces for meetings and events at short notice, insofar as this corresponds to the requirements and interests of the customer and is reasonable for the customer; but especially if the original number of participants changes by the time of the event.

MUSIC / VOLUME

Show acts, background music and artists (orchestra, DJ, players, etc.) must be reported to the hotel or clarified at the time of reservation. The volume of music must not disturb the hotel or other guests in adjacent rooms (max. 86 decibels are permitted). The hotel reserves the right to reduce the volume.
