BÜRGENSTOCK RESORT LAKE LUCERNE PRESENTS ‘CHEFS UNITED’: A SYMPOSIUM OF CULINARYEXCELLENCE

Bürgenstock Resort Lake Lucerne is pleased to announce the third edition of its ‘Chefs United’ gastronomic series, as seven of the world’s leading hotels come together in an evening of unrivalled culinary artistry and entertainment. The highly anticipated event will take place on the 25th November 2023 in the historic venues of Brasserie Ritzcoffier and Salon 1903, which will be transformed into a theatre of live cookery where each of the house as well as famous Swiss producers will have their own station to demonstrate individual culinary concepts. Recently named “Pâtissier of the Year 2024” by the renowned restaurant guide Gault&Millau, Damián Carini, Executive Pastry Chef of the Bürgenstock Resort Lake Lucerne, will delight guests with his outstanding creations.

Present at the showcase will be world-renowned luxury properties The Savoy London, represented by Executive Chef Gerald Quadros, the Raffles Doha, with Italian Chef Antonio Dalessio, the Fairmont Doha with Indian Chef Saneesh Varghese and The Peninsula Paris, represented by Chef Tak Lau Yuen from Lili Restaurant. The Bürgenstock Collection will host the party with Mike Wehrle, Corporate Culinary Director, and Damián Carini, Executive Pastry Chef of the Bürgenstock Resort Lake Lucerne, Ludovic Douteau, Executive Chef at the Royal Savoy Hotel & Spa Lausanne and Wolfgang Schmidt, Chef de Cuisine of Jack’s Brasserie, representing the Hotel Schweizerhof Bern & Spa. The best of Swiss producers will join the party including Oona Caviar, the first Swiss caviar from sturgeon bred in mountain spring water, Casa Nobile, the best chocolate maker of Switzerland, Swiss Lachs and its pure Alpine salmon as well as Muriel Beeler, daughter of the Maître Fromager Rolf Beeler, master affineur of raw milk artisan cheese.

Live entertainment will delight guests, as their tastebuds are taken on an unique journey around the globe. Guests are invited to arrive at 6pm to soak in the Belle-Epoque beauty of the Salon 1903 with an aperitif, before the culinary demonstrations begin at 7pm.

To celebrate the occasion, Bürgenstock Resort Lake Lucerne is pleased to extend a special overnight break to attend the event, “Chefs United: A Night for the Culinary Curious” including accommodation in one of the iconic Bürgenstock Hotel & Alpine Spa suites, complete with a signed Bürgenstock cookbook by Mike Wehrle on arrival. A sumptuous breakfast with panoramic views of the lake and Alps beyond will be available in Spices Kitchen & Terrace the following morning. Guests will have full access to the spectacular Alpine Spa - the largest spa in Europe - admission to the exclusive Bürgenstock Cinema and use of the Diamond Dome Tennis Courts. Complimentary travel to and from the resort from Lucerne will also be offered allowing for a memorable entrance as guests glide across the lake in the MS Bürgenstock Catamaran, followed by Bürgenstock Funicular transport up to the hotel lobby.
