Elevated 500m above scenic Lake Lucerne, Bürgenstock Resort Lake Lucerne has attracted a wealth of silver-screen icons and A-List celebrities over the years. In the gilded 60s, the resort provided the backdrop of the iconic James Bond film Goldfinger film, and this year on September 17th, 2024, Bürgenstock Resort will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the iconic film's release.

In honour of the anniversary, a celebratory Goldfinger Dinner will be held at the Oak Grill & Pool Patio on 20th and 21st September, inspired by the dining tastes of the world's most famous spy. The screenplay of Goldfinger was notable for its many gastronomic moments, with 007 dining lavishly as he traveled the globe, feasting only on the best. Guests can anticipate a four-course tasting menu featuring the finest seasonal produce, expertly flame-grilled, accompanied by an evening of live piano music. A mixologist will be on hand to prepare your preferred cocktail, whether shaken or stirred. Guests can enjoy a martini and entertainment throughout the evening, while the blacktie dress code invites both in-house and external guests to live like James Bond for the night.

For the month of September, guests will have the opportunity to experience the glamour of James Bond with a Goldfinger Tea and Martini offer hosted at the Lakeview Bar & Lounge. Here, guests can indulge in an exquisite selection of sweet and savoury delicacies crafted by the Pâtissier of the Year 2024 award-winner, Damián Carini and paired with the finest teas and perfectly crafted martinis. Imagine savoring a Vesper Martini, the iconic drink ordered by Bond himself in ‘Casino Royale,’ while taking in breathtaking views of Lake Lucerne. The package includes a direct boat trip from Lucerne to Kehrsiten Bürgenstock and access to the Bürgenstock Funicular for a scenic day excursion, reminiscent of Bond's own thrilling travel adventures.

For the ultimate Bond experience, Bürgenstock Resort will also offer an exclusive 'The Night Belongs to Bond' package. This includes an overnight B&B stay at the luxurious Bürgenstock Hotel

& Alpine Spa, a destination that echoes the opulence of Bond's world. Each guest will enjoy a 90minute Golden Opulence treatment by AMRA with rare rubies, stem cell orchids and meteorites, concluding with a 24kt gold hot stone massage, designed to rejuvenate and pamper in true 007 style and further inclusions to feel like James Bond

To further immerse in the Bond experience, there will be daily screenings of James Bond movies at the Bürgenstock Cinema, allowing guests to relive the classic moments of Bond's escapades. From 16th to 22nd September, the cinema will host a special James Bond film week, perfect for film fanatics and those looking to revisit the iconic adventures of Agent 007.

The Night Belongs to Bond Package

The Night Belongs to Bond package includes an overnight stay at Bürgenstock Hotel & Alpine Spa on a B&B basis, one 90-minute Golden Opulence treatment by AMRA per person/stay, and James Bond film screenings at Bürgentsock Cinema, Use of the Diamond Domes tennis courts based on availability, access to the Bürgenstock Alpine Spa, use of Bürgenstock Funicular and MS Bürgenstock Catamaran during your stayThe offer starts from CHF 2,100 per room/night and is valid from 1st September to 30th September 2024.

Goldfinger Tea and Martini Package

The Goldfinger Tea and Martini package includes a selection of sweet and savoury delicacies with finest teas and one James Bond martini, a direct boat trip from Lucerne to Kehrsiten, use of the Bürgenstock Funicular for the entirety of the excursion, and three hours of car parking. The package is valid from 1st to 30th September, and is CHF 99 per person through Monday to Thursday and CHF 112 per person through Friday to Sunday.

Goldfinger Dinner

The Goldfinger Dinner includes a four-course menu, a cocktail masterclass, a martini/cocktail, live music entertainment, and complimentary parking. The dinner will take place on 20th September and 21st September from 7pm and will cost CHF 270 per person.
