The Bürgenstock Collection Announces its Newest Member, The Adria, a Boutique Hotel in London’s South Kensington

The Bürgenstock Collection (burgenstockcollection.com/en) is delighted to announce the exciting addition of The Adria to its portfolio, the very first member hotel outside of Switzerland. The Adria joins the collection as its fourth hotel, alongside Bürgenstock Resort Lake Lucerne, Hotel Schweizerhof Bern & Spa, and the Royal Savoy Hotel & Spa Lausanne.

The Adria is an elegant 1870s townhouse in the heart of leafy South Kensington, just a stone’s throw from Hyde Park and London’s leading museums and galleries. Having previously been a private residential home, The Adria was acquired by Katara Hospitality, parent company for the Bürgenstock Collection, in 2021. The property underwent a restoration, led by renowned hospitality interior design consultants HirschBednerAssociates(HBA),beforeopeningitsdoorstothepublicinJanuary2022. With 24 boutique rooms and suites, The Adria offers a serene hideaway amid the bustle of central London. It possesses a contemporary luxury and antique style – as befits its 19thcentury townhouse setting. The guest rooms seamlessly blend effortless design with modern convenience.
