DISCOVER THE ULTIMATE SWISS FONDUE EXPERIENCE WITH THE BÜRGENSTOCK COLLECTION

The Bürgenstock Collection, Switzerland has launched its Swiss fondue offerings for this winter, to tempt diners with a typical Swiss feast. Each hotel within the collection will host memorable evenings centred around The Bürgenstock Collection Fondue, made up of three local cheeses from the respective nearby regions of Lausanne, Bern, and Lucerne; all exquisite destinations in the winter months.

The Bürgenstock Collection Fondue will be launched by Mike Wehrle, Corporate Culinary Director of The Bürgenstock Collection, and crafted by Swiss Maître Fromager, Rolf Beeler (known as the ‘Cheese pope of Switzerland’ in his home-country) who is world-renowned for his raw milk artisan cheeses. These have seen him win numerous prestigious awards, including the gold medal at the 2009 World Cheese Awards. With his legendary market stall located in the heart of Lucerne, a visit to the Burgenstock Resort Lake Lucerne would be hard to miss for cheese lovers.

From the 1st of December until the 15th of January, the Bürgenstock Resort will host ‘Fondue with a View’. An open-air fondue dinner on the hotel’s magnificent Palace Terrace overlooking Lake Lucernewill make for unforgettable evening. Fondues offered will be: The Bürgenstock Collection Fondue, a Champagne & Truffle Fondue as well as a Vegan Fondue.

The Royal Savoy will be reopening its Skylounge on the 8th of November, a beautifully decorated Alpine roof terrace with unparalleled views over Lausanne. To mark the reopening, the hotel will be hosting fondue demonstrations and tastings on the new terrace, as well as festive cocktail tasting.

The Hotel Schweizerhof in Bern will also be hosting ‘Fondue in the Tub’ on its Sky Terrace on the 17th of November , where guests may enjoy an evening of delicious cheeses in style, whilst looking out to the breath-taking skyline of Bern.

Explore these richly historic cities, particularly beautiful in the winter months, and become an expert in the world of Swiss Cheeses by visiting all three members of the Collection. Each is easily accessible by a short, picturesque train journey, for a luxurious Swiss experience.
