SIRE OF TARZINO Tarzino is the only Group 1 winning entire by Cambridge Stud’s Champion Sire Tavistock. A dual Group 1 winner on the track, Tavistock has made an amazing start to his stud career, producing three individual Derby winners in 2016 alone and already achieving an impressive 7.6% stakes winners to runners from his first three crops of racing age. DAM OF TARZINO Tarzino is out of Zarzino, a daughter of the Champion Sire and Broodmare Sire Zabeel. New Zealand’s Champion Sire for almost two decades, Zabeel has equalled his sire Sir Tristram with 45 individual Group 1 winners and made a phenomenal impact on southern hemisphere breeding, with no less than 162 individual stakes winners to date. BASIS OF THE SYNDICATION SHAREHOLDING The ownership of Tarzino will be divided into 50 (2%) shares.
SHARE ENTITLEMENT 2017 One free nomination per share plus one bonus nomination 2018 One free nomination per share plus one bonus nomination 2019 One free nomination per share plus one bonus nomination 2020 One free nomination per share plus one bonus nomination 2021 and thereafter, One free nomination per share per year These nominations are not transferrable and must be used in the year of allocation.
ADVERTISING/PROMOTION An allocation equal to the value of two nominations to be set aside annually for the advertising and promotion of the stallion.
STANDING RIGHTS The standing stud would receive the equivalent of 15 nominations annually in lieu of upkeep, welfare, and care for the stallion. These nominations cannot be transferred to another year and should a shortfall arise in any year this would be covered by the shareholding on a pro rata basis.

SERVICE FEE The intended service fee for Tarzino is $15,000 + GST.
INSURANCE The fertility and mortality insurance is included in the share price for the first season, and after such time each shareholder will be responsible for their insurance requirements. The stud will provide an insurance certificate at the expiry of the first year of insurance cover for those shareholders wishing to place further cover.
MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE A Management Committee of five members from the ownership (or representatives appointed by such owners).
SHARE PRICE Price per share: NZ$88,000 + GST (if any) and is inclusive of purchase price, first year fertility and mortality insurance, first year advertising and minor incidentals such as airfreight, vetting etc. A full syndicate agreement will be drawn up and include the following shareholder rights.
