One of the time-honored traditions in VVSD is the elementary schools inviting graduating seniors to return to their elementary school for a clap out from the current elementary students. The graduating seniors are followed down the hallways by the departing fifth-grade students who are on their way to middle school and expected to visit again as high school graduates seven years from now. Bolingbrook High School class of 2019 alums took place in one such event at Tibbott Elementary School as they led the Tibbott fifth graders through the hallways.
