Pickwick Theater to show 1994 classic film

The Pickwick Theatre Classic Film Series will have its final show on January 11, 2023, when we present 1994’s The Shawshank Redemption at 1 and 7:30 pm.

Shawshank is actually the highest-rated film on IMDb and is one of the most popular films we’ve ever presented.

We are hoping to continue our classic film series even after the theatre officially closes for business on January 12, but that remains in doubt as of today. We hope to have an answer for you by the time of our next show. We already have the rest of the season planned, so it would be very sad for us if we never get the opportunity to present the films.

Assurance donated more than 300 toys to Edward Foundation’s Pediatric Child Life Program toy drive.

Sponsored by the company’s Assurance Caring Together committee, employees purchased toys for children of all ages to spread joy to those hospitalized this holiday season and throughout the year.
