EDIBLE BOOK FESTIVAL

AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH

Stop by the Edible Book Festival tonight from 7:30 - 9pm in the Rare Book Room on the ground floor of Henry Buhl Library! See the edible creations that our students have made. Help pick the peoples’ choice winner. Snacks and refreshments will also be available. For more information and the history behind the Edible Book Festival click here. We hope to see you there!

April is Autism Awareness Month and to celebrate we are collecting supplies for an Autistic Support & Life Skills Classroom in the New Wilmington Area School District. Look for the donation list in the library lobby and the Curriculum Library. Select an item from the list and bring your donation back to either library before April 29th. Every item donated will earn you an entry to win a prize basket. Thanks for your support!

NEW DISPLAYS We’re partnering with different departments and organizations each month to feature engaging resources from our collection to the campus community. The Christian Writer’s Conference This year the college will be hosting Malcolm Guite, a literary scholar, priest and poet as the featured speaker at this years conference. We are featuring several books by Guite as well as resources on topics that will be covered during lectures and chapel. Stop in to learn more and mark your calendars for the Christian Writer’s Conference on April 7th—9th.

FEATURED RESOURCE Supreme Court Yearbook provides valuable in-depth coverage and analysis of every decision from the nation's highest court since the 1989-1990 term. Includes overviews of Supreme court terms from 1989 – 2009, case summaries, tables and figures on voting patterns and trends in constitutional law, biographies and more.

Business Plan Competition This month we’re featuring resources on small businesses, business plans and entrepreneurship for the upcoming Business Plan Competition at the end of April. We will feature some great resources on display as well as information about The Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Interested in promoting your department or event through a display?
