Win a Kindle Fire! Share your love of books and food for a chance to win a Kindle Fire and other great prizes! Buhl Library and the Department of Communication and Visual Arts is hosting an Edible Book Festival on Friday April 1st in the Rare Book Room from 7:30pm—9pm.
We’re celebrating Women’s History Month this year with the Office of Multicultural Education and initiatives. We’re recognizing women from various backgrounds and cultures who have been pioneers throughout history. Look for these books and more out on display in the library lobby!
All entries must be literary themed and edible. They will be on display in A PEEPle's History of the the Rare Book Room during the event United States/Howard Zinn to be judged and then eaten. Judges will declare winners based on creativity and visual appeal and attendees will have a chance to vote for their favorite. All faculty, staff and students are welcome and encouraged to participate. You may work as individuals or in teams. Participants must register by March 16th. For those not wishing to participate don’t forget to stop by on April 1st to see and taste what great creations the GCC community makes! There will also be snacks, drinks and music.
