What’s New in the Library? New Air Conditioning in the Stacks

New Books

If you’ve been in the first or second floor stacks lately, you’ll notice that things are a lot cooler in the library. Over the summer an ac unit was installed. Both librarians and books have been enjoying the cooler temperatures and we hope you will too!

New Phone Number Buhl Library has a new phone number for the front desk for all renewals and questions. Our main number is now:

Whether you want to checkout our movie collection, grab the latest bestseller, listen to an audiobook or download an eBook to take on the go, we can help you with all of that! Don’t forget to stop by and say hello to the therapy dogs too. We hope you’ll join us.


Tips & Tricks Using your library account on HENRY

Buhl Library Book Club Featured Database ATLA Historical Monographs Collection: Series 1 & Series 2 Provides religious and theological literature from the late 13th century to 1922. Series 1 includes monographs prior to the 1893 World Parliament of Religions. Preserved and curated by the American Theological Library Association (ATLA), this collection contains more than 29,000 titles and features over 50 languages, including German, Italian, and Spanish.

We would like to gauge interest within the campus community for a book club hosted by the library. We hope you’ll take 30 seconds and answer a few short questions about book choices and meeting availability. Thank you for taking the time to let us know what you think. Hispanic Heritage Month This month we’re celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with the Office of Modern Languages. Every year beginning on September 15th through October 15th the United States celebrates the heritage and culture of the Latin American people. Stop in Buhl Library to checkout our display featuring books that discuss culture, history, politics, art, literature and so much more. Check-out a small selection from the display below.

Topics covered include church life, demographics, doctrinal disputes, higher criticism, Judeo-Christian religions, Non-Western religions, and social movements.
