A krng-time resident of Little Rock, Ar., Mr. Hall served I3 yeiirs in the Marine Coros.

Befirre joining the MLA statf, he worked in the retail lumber business in Little Rock fbr 28 years. During that time. he was elected MLA's Arkansas Dealer of the Year in I988 and MLA president in 1987- 1988.

Robert S. Coleman Sr., 92, founder of Robert S. Coleman Lumber Co., Culpeper, Va., died April 6.

Mr. Coleman started the sawmill in the rrid- l9zl0s and retired in the early 1970s. when his son. Robert S. Coleman Jr.. krok over.

W.O. "Audy" Gross. 87. cofounder of Gross-Yowell & Co.. Waco, Tx.. died Jan. 9.

A native of Waco. Mr. Gross served with the Army in India and Burma during World War II.

He worked for Wm. Cameron Lumber Co. before founding GrossYowell with his cousin. Orville Yowell. rn 1946.

Ralph Gerald "Jerry" Garner. 64. president of Garner Lumber Co., Duluth. Ga.. died Aoril 12.

He was a native of Gwinnett County. Ga.. and an Army veteran.

Gene Auldridge, 56, president of Auldridge Building Center. Goldthwaite. Tx.. died of leukemia Jan.29.

He had been a member of the Lumbermen's Association of Tcxas since 1977.

Charles E. "Stoneyt' Fleece, 67, formerly a lurnberman at C.E. Shirk Lumber Co.. Clear Spring, Md., died April 6 in Winchester, Va.

A native of Morgan County, W.V., he also co-owned Fleece Masonry.
