Thc Company's timber holdings are of the highest quality in the Pacific Northwcst. All lumbcr will bc produccd and graded in accordance with the rules and eizes of the Weat Coast Lumbcrmen'e Aosociation, and the American Standardization program.

All I and 2-inch lumber will be supplied green or dry as thc trade requires; if dry it witl-5e driel before surfacing and graded after surfacing, and can be sorted as to thickness, width, length and grade.

W. L. Forsythe, vice-president and general manager of the Western White Cedar Lumber Co. of Marshfieldl Ore_ gon, is a California visitor and is spending severat davs with A. A. Dimmick looking over market coiditions in the San Francisco and Los Angeles Districts. The Western W[ii. Cedar Lumber Co. are manufacturers of Port Orford Wfritu Cedar.and-are repre-sented in the California market by th; Dimmick Lumber Co. of San Francisco.

MR AND MRS. J. H. HOLMES RETURN FROU EASTERN TOUR

Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Holmes have returned from a three tnonths' automobile tour of the Southern and Eastern states. They traveled as far east as New'York and among the many things of interest that they visited werc the Palisades on the Hudson, Mammoth Cave of Virginia, and the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs, Kentucky. On their return west. they came over the Yellowstoni Trail via Yellowstone Park, Spokane, and Porttand. Mr. Holmes is president of the Holmes-Eureka Lumber Co.

I. E. BRINK A SAN FRANCISCO VISITOR

I. E. Brink, of the Diamond Match Company, Chico, was a San Francisco visitor over the Fourth of July holidays. He wa.s spending a few days on pleasure and looking over the points of interest in the Bay District.

J. H. SHEPARD CALLS ON SAN FRANCTSCO TRADE

J. H. Shepard, manager of Friend & Terry Lumber Co., Sacramento, was a recent San Francisco visitor where he spelt a few days calling on the lumlter trade and attending to business matters. He reports that the lumber business in Sacramento is very satisfactorv.

Harry Carter Spends Vacation In Mendocino County

Harry Carter, of the Van Arsdale-Harris Lumber Co., San Francisco, is spending his- vacation in Mendocipo. County where he is enjoying a little outdoor life hiking and fishing. He motored up over the scneic Redwood Highway and is accompanied by his family on the trip.
