"The course has been approved by the Veterans' Administration for training of veterans under Public Larv No. 346. This means that tuition fee, text books, necessary instruction, and sustenance in the amount of $90.00 per n.ronth for married unemployed veterans, and $60.00 per month for single unemployed veterans vi'ill be paid by the Veterans' Administration.

"This course is open to all emplo)r'ees, or prospective employees, of any firm in the lumber industry. "Full advantage is taken of displays, films, and other vis- ual aids availlble for instructions. Field trips are taken to nearby retail lumber yards and millwork plants, and also to construction sites. Examinations are given throughout the 30-day session, and a certification is issued for satisfactory completion of the course. However, University credit will not be allowed toward a degree upon completion of this training course," Mr. Hamilton said.

The course content will conform in general to the following schedule: fn order that U.S.C. may stay u'ithin its budget allonance, the course rvill not be started unless there is an enrollment of 20 students or more. f)ealers .ivho l,ish to enroll students in fhis course should advise the Association at a very early date so that proper arrangements can be made, The address is 111 West 7th Street, Los Angeles 14, Calif.
