ARCHITECTURE PORTFOLIO 2018-2023
This portfolio summarizes the highlights of my last six years, from where I've been to where I am now, from Hue to Frankfurt, from individual works to collaborative projects, from academic assignments to daring competitions. By presenting work over such a long period of time, I hope to convey not only my growth in the field, but also my commitment and continued efforts to architecture. I wish you an exciting read.

Existing Conditions
Uferhallen, which wants to be a part of the city, which wants to be modernized and profitable, which wants to continue to make art, is faced with the difficult problem of finding a solution for the coexistence of all these forces. How can we develop an architecture that meets all the requirements, how can we develop an architecture that is coherent, exciting, and convincing!

The Hall Since the hall is located in the center of the site and is intended to be the heart of the neighborhood, it needs to be larger, have more light and greater flexibility. Now that it is almost twice as high, it can meet the cultural-artistic needs of the neighborhood and the city. It can now be the cultural destination of Berlin, hosting events large and small and presenting art on a larger scale.

Neighborhood
The Alte Seilerei is a rope factory that ceased production in the 1990s. This project is part of an effort to keep the industrial heritage alive by proposing new uses and making it a vibrant, creative neighborhood. In addition to practical renovation, the buildings will be integrated into a more coherent urban language and the architectural heritage will be brought into better focus. The redesign and reconstruction will create new spatial experiences while respecting the heritage and capacity of the buildings. New structures will be designed and built in a modular fashion with the motto "less is more."

As a factory, the work halls used to be entered from the west. As a public destination, people are now invited to enter the halls directly from the south. There, they can stroll through the stores and open event spaces or spend time in the spacious green areas to the north.

From outside, the factory appears unchanged. A closer look reveals the renewed interior, as the separating walls have been removed to allow the three halls to be connected. Traveling through the building, visitors visit different eras, explore the changing daylight, experience the revealing spatial qualities, and finally end up in the attractive southern green space.

Family Life
This 6 x 18 house is home to a pottery family of three in the urban context of Frankfurt. Despite the small footprint and limited exposure, the architecture promises a living experience comparable to that of a single-family home, with generous gardens and abundant natural light.

Task of the Competition
The existing building, known internationally as NPAK - "Armenian Center for Contemporary Experimental Art", was built in the 1980s. The NPAK is intended to become the new art and community center of Yerevan. The building is intended to act as a meeting point between the art community, youth, the general public, creative professionals and the business community. The center is to become a mediator between innovative artistic thinking, mass culture and industry.

Preservation
The preservation of the architectural heritage is an essential point of the proposal. Existing architectural features should play an important role in the new architecture.
Connection
Ground level walls are removed to create entrances in all directions. People are invited to freely enter the premises
Multifuction
The large exhibition hall also functions as the community's living room. The hall is designed as a community center, a meeting place and an exhibition space for art.
Culture and Arts
The new symbol of NPAK is a structure on the verge, slightly floating, leaning towards the future. The structure represents the constant movement in the cultural development.

By the Elbe
The picture shows the existing courtyard. Even though the interiors are beautiful, the central open area captured our attention. Standing there, we could see all that was happening inside, and we could get a broader perspective of the architecture, despite being unoccupied, it was as lively as any other decorated room if not more. Our initial impression inspired us to start the intervention from the courtyard. We aim to not only leave the historical architecture untouched but also to elegantly solve the existing challenges of circulation, spatial experience, and a needed welcoming hall for all by having a "compact object" that can be easily inserted in the courtyard.
Group work | 2019

Community hub
At the heart of the building, we proposed a community hub that will open up the connection between the Neustadt and the Elbe. The new path that connects people to different exhibiting spaces will also be in the courtyard, contributing to the dynamic movement of people that we believe to give the Palais its new breath of life.

Tradition
In my opportunities to visit a traditional space, the distinct overwhelming atmosphere was always vividly felt. I remember the air was completely different once I was shaded by an immense wooden structure, I felt sheltered and belonged. As the sign of Vietnamese gathering places has always been a generous roof shading people’s activities, this "new cultural center of Hue" is founded upon that spatial tradition.

People’s center For the future Culture Center of Hue, the main goal is to make it a gathering place, not only for the public but also for the study of Hue. The design is less about the architectural style but more about a "complete sense" of Hue, from openness to stillness.

Stillness
Exploded isometric drawing
Hue sometimes rains for days without any sign of stopping, the whole city will disappear into the curtain of water stripes. The constant chaos of rain makes everything seem to stand still. I envision the building to be just a golden cloud in those days, gently floating in the urban landscape. I wanted it to be that simple, just a cloud, without styles, without expressions, the richness is in its simplicity. But all the while, I wish a vibrant life to happen in every program regardless of the weather conditions. Behind the curtain of rain, I envision the central gathering space to be bright and colorful, with people, plants, and light.
