Rolex, Day-Date, “Masterpiece”
“Glacier Blue Diamond Dial”
The Rolex Day-Date Masterpiece is a special edition watch that combines the classic Day-Date with the luxurious Pearlmaster bracelet. If you’re not familiar with this particular model, let us tell you a bit about it. The Pearlmaster was first introduced by Rolex in 1992 as their jewelry watch collection. These watches are always made from precious metals and are adorned with diamonds. The signature design feature of the Pearlmaster is its five-piece links bracelet, which is fitted with a concealed Crownclasp. It’s curvier than the Oyster bracelet but flatter than the Jubilee or President bracelet.
Originally, Rolex only paired the Pearlmaster bracelet with LadyDatejust watches to create stunning gold and platinum diamond watches for women. However, in the 2000s, Rolex introduced new special edition Day-Date watches fitted with Pearlmaster bracelets called the Rolex Masterpiece. The Day-Date Masterpiece has a larger case than the classic Day-Date watches, which traditionally sported 36 mm cases. The Day-Date Masterpiece boasts a 39 mm case, making it a great option for those looking for a larger Rolex Day-Date.

Omega, Speedmaster, Jubilee 27 CHRO C12, “Limited Edition”
In the year 1942, Omega introduced their first chronographs featuring the caliber 27 CHRO C12. The movement was further developed and renamed caliber 321, powering several models including all Speedmasters until 1968. Fifty years later, in 1992, Omega commemorated the jubilee of this legendary movement with a limited edition release. The exclusive edition, consisting of only 999 units, featured yellow gold cases, a caliber 863 movement, and, for the very first time on a Speedmaster, a sapphire-crystal. Each watch was presented in a specially crafted wooden box.

Universal Geneve Aero-Compax
The Aero-Compax Chronograph, crafted by the esteemed Swiss watch manufacturer Universal Geneve, is a mid-1960s chronograph that houses the manual-wound caliber 130 movement. What makes this particular Aero-Compax model truly exceptional is the rare reference 22703/4, which only was produced for a few years. The 40 mm case features a rotatable bezel that harmonizes with the cream white dial, striking a perfect contrast with the black chronograph registers and vivid red text. The unusual reference is seldom seen by the public eye, making this Aero-Compax Chronograph a true gem for watch collectors and aficionados alike.

Vacheron Constantin, 222, “Jumbo”
The Vacheron Constantin 222 watch was launched in 1977, on the occasion of the brand’s 222nd anniversary. Unlike popular belief, the design of this integrated sports watch was not crafted by Gerald Genta but rather by 24-year-old Jörg Hysek The watch’s design is inspired by the Nautilus and the Royal Oak, featuring a monobloc, tonneau-shaped case with a distinct bezel and a high-quality integrated bracelet.
This model was offered in three sizes, including the 37 mm “jumbo” size, the 34 mm size, and the 24 mm size. Although it is commonly believed that only 500 units of the 222 were produced during its eight-year production, factory records indicate that there were more than 1,300 ladies versions, around 1,000 mid-size models, and approximately 700 “jumbo” models. The rarest of these watches were those made of white gold, with a few examples having silver or white dials.
Despite being overshadowed by other popular watches for a long time, the Vacheron Constantin 222 is now gaining popularity among collectors due to its rarity and exceptional quality. Recently, the brand has even relaunched the 222 in 18K gold, further elevating the watch’s status.
